Check-in

Check-in is possible at any time. Please let us know your arrival time and inform us in good time if you will be arriving outside our opening hours. In this case, we will prepare everything for your late arrival and inform you accordingly.

Approach

Arrival by car

The village of Baar is very centrally located in the middle of Switzerland and is easily accessible both by private vehicle and by public transport (bus stop directly in front of the house).

You can reach us

  • from Zug in approx. 10 minutes by car (after the town center, look for the yellow hotel signpost at the traffic lights – turn left!)
    or by bus no. 3 in the direction of “Baar Lättich” from Zug train station to the bus stop “Baar, Oberdorf” (directly in front of the house).
  • from Zurich in just under 30 minutes by car via Sihlbrugg
    or with direct trains from Zurich main station to Baar (S 24 or InterRegio trains).
  • from Zurich Airport*) with the direct train connection to Baar every half hour.
    Travel time approx. 50 minutes with the S 24.
  • from Lucerne in just under 20 minutes by car via A2/A14/A4a, highway exit “Baar”
    or with direct trains Lucerne → Baar (S1 or InterRegio).

Parking spaces, e-double charging station

Around 30 free parking spaces are available to our guests in the hotel’s own grounds, including a double e-charging station for electric cars in 2 spaces. Release Electricity purchase and billing takes place via our reception.

  • Das Hotel ist gelegen an eine durchgehende Strasse, aber dennoch ist es ruhig auf die Zimmer. Das Zimmer hat alles, was man so braucht inkl. 2 Flaschen Wasser. Die Zimmer und das Hotel sind sauber, und der Empfang freundlich und zuvorkommend.

  • Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, damit man sich wohl fühlt. Das Essen ist einfach nur genial köstlich und beim Zmorge Buffet hat auch nichts gefehlt. Sogar eine Zahnbürste konnte ich noch beziehen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend und immer offen für neue Anregungen.
