His passions are the hotel business and theology, not surprisingly, people are his key focus. The certified hotel manager NDS HF and Evangelical theologian BTh is an hotelier by conviction and loves to host.
In October 2019 he took over the management of the Dialoghotel Eckstein. His highest goal, which he wants to achieve together with all employees is: that people feel completely at ease here, that they leave satisfied, come back as regular guests and tell others about their positive experiences with us.
Front Office Manager
She is from the Ticino and received training at the hotel management school in Bellinzona. She joined the Dialoghotel Eckstein in January 2017 as a team leader at the reception.
Together with hotelier Willy Graf, she is responsible for the sale and management of corporate seminars and group bookings.
In addition to her Italian mother tongue , she speaks perfect High German, understands Swiss German and can also communicate with our guests in English and French.
In the summer of 2017 she successfully completed her commercial apprenticeship. In March 2018 she started a new challenge in the hotel industry, which was unknown to her until then. She dared to take the step to the front desk – as a receptionist at the Dialoghotel Eckstein.
Since then, she has loved the contact with guests and likes the team work.
Our career changer. For decades, the native of Hallau (canton of Schaffhausen)
worked in the medical field.
Through her experience in a family doctor’s practice, she is used to dealing with people.
In 2023, she wanted to try something new. She succeeded in entering the hotel business. She enjoys the contact with national and international guests. She is able to use her organisational skills at the heart of our hotel, the reception.

From Central Switzerland, she is a passionate cook and has enriched our team since May 2020, planning and cooking meals for our diverse groups of guests with daily renewed enthusiasm. Whether a self-service lunch buffet or a multi-course menu served on plates, whether a varied aperitif, a quick stand-up lunch or an extensive banquet – everything is prepared from scratch and presented with pleasure and professional pride by Edith, our chef.
A native of Luxembourg, she has been living for over 30 years in Central Switzerland. She is married to a Swiss and has three adult children.
Since 2010, this trained cook and graduate of a Luxembourg Hotel Management school has been committed to a varied, regional and tasty cuisine at the Dialoghotel Eckstein.
Service, responsible for breakfast service
Originally from Kosovo, she has been working in our service team since 2007. Friendly and always with a smile on her face, she is tirelessly there for our guests – whether at breakfast, at the lunch buffet or during an aperitif.
You can believe her when she says that the daily contact with our guests and the versatile work gives her great pleasure. This was also her incentive to learn German – which she now speaks very well.
After graduating from the innkeeper school and obtaining a commercial diploma, he owned a restaurant for 30 years and ran it together with his wife. He is married and has three adult children.
He has been working with us since 2013 and appreciates the possibility to use his long gastronomic experience in the service here . As a wine lover he is happy to be able to recommend a suitable wine to our guests.
She loves to prepare a spotlessly clean, fragrant and pleasant “temporary home” for our hotel guests.
Ana, who grew up in Croatia, has been working in the housekeeping team since May 2014. Tirelessly, she is committed to cleanliness for the benefit of our guests.
